SEASON 7

June 13, 2003: Fallen; Homecoming: Daniel Jackson rejoins SG-1 full-time and Jonas Quinn's planet is attacked in back-to-back episodes that open the seventh season. SG-1 devotees were upset when Daniel (Michael Shanks) was killed off toward the end of the fifth season, but as it turned out, the archaeologist wasn't quite kaput. His spirit went on to aid his former comrades, notably in last season's finale when he battled Anubis (David Palffy), the godlike leader of the evil Goa'uld. In "Fallen," alien nomads find an amnesiac Daniel — in human form. Once on Earth, he tries to jump-start his memory as SG-1 sets a risky trap for Anubis. In "Homecoming," Jonas unwittingly leads the Goa'uld to Kelowna, his home planet.

June 13, 2003: Fallen: 701 The team begin to investigate the lost city of the Ancients when they come across Daniel, now human and without his memories. The SGC launches a dangerous mission to destroy Anubis' super weapon.

June 27, 2003: Orpheus: A glum Teal'c battles to revive his spirits and save his son in a moody episode written and directed by ex-21 Jump Street star Peter DeLuise. Fans of the taciturn Jaffa warrior — SG-1's equivalent to Star Trek's Mr. Spock — may be surprised to see him so angst-ridden from a laser wound. The reasons are twofold: His son Rya'c (Neil Denis) is missing, and Teal'c is shamed by his own feelings of weakness. As Teal'c works to heal both his body and mojo, teammate Daniel Jackson, a former godlike entity, inspires a rescue plan after recalling images from his omnipotent past. The clues lead to a Goa'uld labor camp where Rya'c and the Jaffa elder Bra'tac (Tony Amendola) are being held.

July 11, 2003: Revisions: On an otherwise toxic planet, the team discovers a domed community whose the friendly residents wear small devices on their temples that link them to a data bank. Soon, however, oddities occur: Carter discovers that the dome is losing power; and residents disappear — along with the memories their fellow townsfolk had of them.

July 25, 2003 Enemy Mine:707 When Earth's attempts to exploit a newly-discovered naquadah mine are thwarted by a tribe of indigenous Unas, SG-1 must turn to an old friend for help.

August 1, 2003: Space Race: Usually a model of cool professionalism, Amanda Tapping's Maj. Samantha Carter has trouble containing herself when she takes part in an intergalactic race. Tapping scored with SG-1 fans by playing Carter as calm and resourceful without resorting to iciness. Tapping is anything but icy in this rowdy tale, seizing the chance to show her major's eager, even reckless side. Noting Carter's "unusually gung-ho" attitude about the contest, Daniel Jackson thinks she's less interested in swapping technology with her Hebridian crewmates than in "fun." "What's a girl to do?" is Carter's breezy reply. Actually, SG-1 has plenty to do after her ship is sabotaged and is Teal'c is abducted.

August 8, 2003: Avenger 2.0: The sci-fi hit goes for laughs as techno-geek Jay Felger unleashes a computer virus that traps half the 'Gaters on other worlds. Last season, Felger's overzealousness nearly doomed O'Neill's mission to contact a Tok'ra ally. This time, General Hammond wants to can Felger after his latest gizmo causes a power outage. To keep his job, Felger teams with Major Carter to create a computer virus to disable enemy Stargates. Instead, it takes down the entire Stargate network. McKenna, best known as the nerdy nephew on the how-to series spoof The Red Green Show, plays Felger with a sweet earnestness that brings out the big sister in Amanda Tapping's Carter.

August 15, 2003: Birthright: Jolene Blalock (Enterprise) plays a Jaffa warrior whose fellow females must absorb the symbiotes of other Jaffa to survive. The episode penned by series regular Christopher Judge, who plays SG-1's resident Jaffa, Teal'c.

August 22, 2003: Evolution: Part 1 of two. O'Neill travels to South America to find Jackson, who disappeared searching for an alien device, while Teal'c and Carter seek evidence of Anubis's newest weapon. Michael Shanks, who plays Jackson, cowrote the story.
