: So lets translate, shall we. Linux is an unstable game loader that some

Okay, let's forgo the bias and deal with experience.

1. Quake, Doom, and other SVGAlib games do not work (at least well) on
FreeBSD, the do on Linux. The pure X versions do, of course.

2. I had to ditch Linux on two separate occasions because quirks in
SOMETHING caused it to bomb out if (case 1) multiple SCSI CD drives
were accessed simultaneouls, or (case 2) too much net traffic was going
over a card. BOTH problems were rectified by switching to FreeBSD. I
have also had no such problems with FreeBSD on any machines.

Based on THIS experience, I recommend Linux for personal, "fun" use, and
FreeBSD for stable server use.

Is this bigotry? I think not. This is experience, pure and simple.
