Explain ``won't start''.  ``My car doesn't drive!'' is not a very
helpful error description.

I think the rest is not ok. :) I think you've erroneously botched your
fdisk table.  You can re-install, using the correct values, but this
first requires you to know what went wrong.  You could perhaps also
fix the table using fdisk (e.g. from a fixit floppy), but this
requires a little understanding of how the partition layout and fdisk
crap is working.  (I've successfully guided people to do this, but
this took me about half an hour of a phone call, so it's most likely
impossible to explain in a Usenet posting.)

	sd(0,a)/kernel

But that's the default already, so spelling it explicitly won't help
you either.
