I am having a bit of trouble setting up my X software. i have FreeBSD
2.2.2 release and
i have the x version that came with the setup. my problem is that when
i run XF86Setup, i get everything working, and aside from my video being

not centered on the screen (which
xvidtune will not fix, i tried) i have correctly configured all of the
options. my problem is,
when i get to the final dialog, and try to choose the save settings and
exit, it just beeps and does not save the configuration. I have to end
up resetting my computer to get out of the XF86Setup. Does anyone have
any explanation as to why this may be happening?
