Has anyone pursued the notion of "swapping" between 386BSD and MS-DOS via
software? While I know this is not easy, it does seem doable, especially
if you can ensure that the OS is in some sort of quiescent state prior to
switching. I'm envisioning something along the lines of a hot-key to do
the swap. And it doesn't have to be instantaneous; 10 seconds would be
acceptable to me.

I'd be interested in hearing about any work along these lines,
or any thoughts on such a project. Thanks.
