However, the AT commands do not display OK or any return codes unless I hit
the enter key to read every single character in from some buffer.  This
happens whether I use the PPP term command, cu -l cuaa1, dip or tip.  It
seems to be something wrong with the device /dev/cuaa1 itself, not the
utility programs that invoke it.
