I have a peculiar problem , I installed freebsd on my laptop , a
toshiba 435cds. I did an ftp install, im on a network with a t1
connection to the net. I booted using boot-pao.flp and it found and
mounted the PCMCIA ethernet card no problem. I did the ftp install which
went off without a hitch. when i rebooted however no ethernet
connection. it didnt see the card. I have since done the following
a: loaded and compiled the PC card kernel.
b: configured and compiled a custom kernel
c: tried numerous i/o irq settings

the closest i got was when i did the custom kernel, it mounted ed at the
PC card, but then right below it says ed0 was not found on 0xXXX (fill
in the blanks) I was wondering if there is anyone out there who can help
me with this , I have searched high and low for someone. Email me at
kenzen@oneimage.com , please thanks
