Hi!

I have just put in a new/used scsi disk in my FreeBSD box, this box is
running as an samba
file server at my home, it also serves as an ppp gateway/router and is in
general an
"experimental" box for me to play with. I have used FreeBSD from version
2.1.0 and i must
say that i like this OS alot.

I had to recompile my kernel to support my AHA-1540/42CF but when I was
compiling a new kernel
with scsi support something happend. I dont know what it was (went to bed)
but when im tryed
to boot after the kernel compile the system wouldt boot, saying it
something wrong with
the file system. I managed to get in and check the /var/log/message file
and this is the
error message displayed there. Is this an hard drive error on wd0 or is
something wrong
with my IDE controller ?

Thank you for any hints or sugestions.

Error message in /var/log/message
