What does "access to switches" have to do with the power supply? I've got
external units from Media Integration based on the 1533 and 1599 drives
with little cables from the SCSI ID pins to an external ID selector. Since
we run mostly Intel-based UNIX (Novell/SCO UnixWare, AT&T/NCR Unix, soon
Solaris) the default switches are fine, but a small "window" to those
switches could be easily engineered.

Power supplies belong internally, not in sloppy bricks cluttering up desks
and floors. Hey, if you guys can engineer a Mopier that can "mow the lawn"...
