Personally, I think the BSDI Netscape versions work a little better on 
NetBSD/i386, but the Linux version also works fine.

I tried StarOffice 3.1 (the statically linked version) once, and after dinking 
with the installation scripts, each of the apps works as expected under 
NetBSD/i386.  

In general, almost all Linux programs work correctly under NetBSD.  The 
biggest problem is finding the right set of Linux libraries (not a NetBSD 
specific problem, however).  The FreeBSD people have a nice collection of 
Linux libraries - check on ftp.cdrom.com in the FreeBSD ports and/or packages 
directories.
