Well, the situation isn't exactly 17 vs. ls -l /usr/src/linux/arch | wc -l.
(mostly because of linux having only one m68k arch with one kernel image
working on amigas and ataris, maybe others as well).
If we replace m68k with amiga, atari, mvme68k and mac68k (the currently
usable m68k ports), there's 10 ports. Then there's the ARM port
and the SGI port which are both quite complete, so 17-12 would be
more correct. 

PS. I just remembered that I forgot the mklinux port to HP's :)
