Either model would be suitable, the only difference is that the UNIX
version
has the power supply external to permit access to the drive config
switches.
In PC based UNIX systems, this is unnecessary. I'll forward your message
to
our WEB site editor, maybe it needs more clarity.

The connectors are the larger 50 pin bail connectors, the 2940UW will
work
with this drive, but you'll need a 68-50 way adapter, all devices
physically after the DDS drive must then also be narrow SE.
