Here's the ported softare list for January. It's been tidied up a lot
and has some new entries although I know there are a lot more packages
that have been ported than are in this list.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
PACKAGES CURRENTLY PORTED TO 386BSD 0.1 (January 1993)
---------------------------------------------------------------------

If you've ported any software to 386BSD then please fill in the form
below and send it to spedpr@thor.cf.ac.uk.

Put the name of the package in the PACKAGE line and the description of
what the package is in the description line. The status line should
mention how stable the port is, any known bugs should be put in the bugs
line.

Put the name and email address of the person who did the port in the
ported line and the same details of those people willing to maintain
the port in the maintained by line.

The OS version is the version of 386BSD that the software was ported to,
including any useful patch details.

The requires line should include any other software needed to
run/install the package and the notes line can be used for any other
relevant details.

Any comments good or bad, regarding this list are welcome.

---------
Description: fortran 77 compiler.
Status: fully working
Ported by:	Hiroshi Murakami (mhiroshi@tansei.cc.u-tokyo.ac.jp)
Maintained by:	Hiroshi Murakami (mhiroshi@tansei.cc.u-tokyo.ac.jp)
OS version: 0.1
Available from: ref.tfs.com:/usr/packages/f77-386bsd.tar.Z.uu
Requires:
Known bugs:
Notes: The f2c and f77 are the ATT's developed codes which
is quite resembled to THE fortran compiler 'f77'
of the Unixen. For the sake of speed, using
mathlib-2.1 rather than system bundled /usr/lib/libm.a
code generated by f2c, gcc-2.2.2 or later is recommended,
but this is not must. The sys-V clone (?) getopt was added.
Some double complex intrinsic functions (Note double complex
are not the part of ANSI-f77 standard) are added for the
purpose to allow more wide range of fortran source codes.
Installation is quite easy. The original version of f2c+f77
for this package are obtained from att's netlib ftp-site
		in July 1992.
