Use the ports :)

The XFree86 stuff compiles nice-'n-easy from /usr/ports/x11/XFree86.
You just have to download the source (~30Mb).  If you're running
-current, it's best IMHO to be able to rebuild everything on your
machine - in case someone changes something nasty.
