Hi all....

Probably I should be sending this to BUG_REPORTS :-)

I'm currently running 2.1.5-STABLE on a 386dx40 with 8mb RAM

I've run both a Matsushita CR-574 and a Matsushita CR-581 IDE CDROM as
a slave to a Seagate 1.2 GB Mode 3 EIDE hard drive hanging off wdc0,
and on it's own on a second IDE controller (wdc1)

A bug I have noticed when I have the CD in either configuration, is
the REBOOT, HALT or SHUTDOWN commands no longer work properly - what I
*think* is happening, is that the controller is trying to "sync" the
CD before shutdown (still syncs any harddrive ok though). The box then
just hangs at that step - it never gets to the "press any key to
reboot" stage

Disable the CD, and everything works fine.

Has this been fixed in later releases?

  Andrew
