Are you just getting started with FreeBSD or Linux, and have questions?
Are you having trouble setting up Linux or FreeBSD? Need help configuring
your ethernet card, PPP, SCSI controller, etc.? Or do you have more
general questions? Or do you just want to learn about and discuss these
fascinating operating systems? If you answered "yes" to any of these
questions, then please read on!

Tonight, I will be starting a weekly series of IRC chat sessions on the
topic of Linux and FreeBSD. I intend this to be a place where I can
disseminate information about these OS's, as well as a place where
everyone can discuss them. I will also be happy to answer any questions,
general or specific, and can help set up your system (or at least give
advice and pointers on where to go) if you are having problems.

This chat is free and open to the public. Here is the information on
where to connect to, dates and times, etc.:

DATE: Every week on Friday, starting TONIGHT (6/20/97)
TIME: 9:00-11:00 PM, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT)
WHERE: Point your IRC client to: chat.inreach.com 6667.
        Enter the #Computer-Talk channel.
OR, if you have a Java-enabled Web browser, go to
        <http://chat.inreach.com>
NOTE: This server is open to the public! Anyone and everyone is
        welcome to come by!
NOTE: This server is *NOT* on any of the IRC networks (EFnet,
etc.). YET. So, you will have to connect to the server directly.

Come on by!
