I've recompiled my kernel with the following

device ed0 at isa? port 0x300 net irq 5 iomem 0xd8000 vector edintr
and 
pseudo-device ether

This is exactley the same probe I used when I was running 2.1.5.
Now I get a message saying ed0 not found at 0x300

The card definitely has these jumper settings set properly.

Any further ideas ?
