Hello,

I just installed FreeBSD 2.2.1 to my secondary IDE HD(primary) from
an IDE CD Rom drive setup as slave on the same port.
During the install I dedicated the entire drive to FreeBSD using the A
option
in FDisk Partition Editor.
I set is as bootable, and manually generated labels in disklabel editor
according to the book.
Everything looks fine through the install(did have some port collections
hang
the system so I installed without them)
I added the boot manager to my primary HD(Win95) and when
the machine reboots, I choose F5 for second disk.
Everything starts to load, then I get the Panic Error.
The error is "Cannot Mount Root"
I think I have followed the complete FreeBSD book to the T.

If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate.
I want to get this system up and running.

Thank You

Mark
