It has. Read the release notes for details.

In the XFree86/XFree86-3.3 directory, you'll find the README and RELNOTES
files. You'll find instructions for the upgrade inside 'em. That's really
easy, save your previous config. file, extract the binaries/config. files
and merge any addition you may have done (especially lib/X11/config files).

Runs fine here. Just upgraded in the morning.
