I've been trying to get PPP working w/ OpenBSD 2.1 on my PowerBook 145, and am running into some trouble. First off, I started out by using the same configuration files as I do for establishing a PPP connection on my MkLinux system, since they looked like they would work just fine. However, under OpenBSD my modem hangs up as soon as the first bit of data starts coming into the newly established connection (I guess it's the password authentication text - I can see the RD light flash on my Hayes 33.6 modem).
 So, I tried adding the 'debug' option to my pppd script. Unfortunately it didn't result in any additional information (as opposed to what was reported before when the modem hung up). Here is what pppd is reporting:

Leela# pppd 2.3.0 started by root, uid 9
Leela# Serial connection established.
Leela# Using interface ppp0
Leela# Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/tty00
Leela# Modem hangup
Leela# Connection terminated.
Leela# Exit.

I don't understand why it's not working on my OpenBSD system w/ configuration files that I know work. If anybody is successfully using PPP on a Mac w/ OpenBSD out there, I'd appreciate it if you can give me some pointers on any particular/special requirements to make it work correctly.

Thanks,

-Stefan
