Heh.  :-)

Yet Another Reason to quit smoking. :-)

Yeah, it's got a bite, alright!

Just thought I'd follow up to say I went and bought a new keyboard today,
after disassembling the old one last night (it was *not* pretty;
hairballs, nico-gunk, dust bunnies, the works), reconnecting it and
*still* getting the same crap. In fact, it seemed even *worse* after I'd
cleaned it.  :-)

Everything's fine now, though.  Yay!

Took your recommendation and bought a new IBM keyboard. Realized right
after I left the store, though, that I'd forgotten to buy a dust cover for
it. Damn! I *will* go back very soon and get one.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. I like the new keyboard. Has a much
better feel than the old one, which was kind of a lightweight. I was
tempted to buy the cool-looking black one, but it cost ten dollars more,
and I couldn't see any difference other than the color, which seems a
bit ridiculous to me.

Damn, why am I so thirsty all of a sudden? :-)
