Regarding 386BSD vs. Linux...  What about C Library compatiblity with the
bulk of packages obtainable from the Internet.  Univel (Novell/USL) may well
stop the anti-BSDI suits so the valuable development work on BSD can continue
for another decade, but ignoring legal issues,

  Which provides the greatest level of compatibility with the bulk of
  packages available off the Internet, so far as the c libraries are
  concerned?  386BSD or Linux???
