One I'd like to see propogated is "LRF" as in "this machine comes
standard with LRF support".

    (This one is a salesman-catcher: ask for a machine with LRF support
and if he says he has one, he's lying.   LRF=Little Rubber Feet.)

    OK, so it's not a UNIX acronym, it's more generalized, but hey-
while *nix runs on Intel platforms, it's arguably earned it's place on
the list.
