So Holland is the dutch name for the Netherlands? Wrong. Holland is a province of the Netherlands. Using Holland to mean Nederland came about when a tourist board starting advertising "Come to Holland" and the like, meaning the Province, not the country. The fact that most of the Randstad (Amsterdam, Utrecht, Den Haag = The Hague) is in Holland, means that that is where most tourists spend their time. The silly tourists took it that Holland meant the WHOLE country, so now Nederland, The Netherlands is known as Holland. Even a lot of dutch people don't know the difference! What this has to do with Sun Solaris I don't know, but I'm sure someone can inform me.
