I suspect that the closest pronunciation of your name that I could manage would be one which sounds like "Harvey", for which I apologize. I could be quite wrong, too. I'm basing my assumption on the name of a Belgian woman with whom I correspond occasionally, the spelling of which is "Mirjam", which comes out as "Miriam". <RANT> Why do we Americans insist on giving our own names to places when there exists a perfectly acceptable name that the indigenous people use? Two which come to mind are Hrvatska/Croatia and Holland/The Netherlands, not to mention the lumping together of Norway, Sweden, and Finland together as "Scandinavia". Not only that, but we insist on making the spelling of those names we see fit to use fit into out alphabet, rather than using the native spelling/character set of the place we're referring to. Rand- McNally, are you listening?
