Can anyone help me with a problem I have on my FreeBSD-2.1.5 box with
pppd.
The FreeBSD-2.1.5 box functions as a 'webserver' coupled via a leased
line over a simple 33k6 modem. So far no problem, but about 50% of the
incoming packets must be retransmitted because of 'fcs error'(90%)
'packet too big'(7%) and 'protocol error <hex-value>'(3%). The outgoing
side has no problems (or not noticed yet).

I do think it is the rts/cts handshake between the system and the modem,
but I cannot get a grip on it.

Thanxx in advance,
