I had an initial attempt at producing a FreeBSD 'port' for 2.1.x some weeks
ago but it was not a success (not helped by having no Internet connection
to my FreeBSD computer at home). I see the FreeBSD handbook entry about
making a 'port' has been updated since then, so I will have another go
sometime in June.
(Apologies for the delay in responding : I used to use 'nn' at work to read
news but our ISP had one of it's periodic foul-ups with their news servers
and 'nn' stopped working and would not recover.)
