The machine has a Have you enabled IP forwarding with sysctl? Execute the following command: sysctl net.inet.ip.forwarding If the answer tells you it is set to zero (which is the default value), that's your problem. To enable it, execute as root: sysctl -w net.inet.ip.forwarding=1
