Not that i know.  Linux's svgaconsole works totally differently, it
(IMHO) uses the BIOS.

The closest to all of this was once pcvt's 132-column ability, but
alas, it turned out to be too much hardware-dependant.  Even though
i'm sorta a co-author of pcvt, my own screen doesn't support 132
columns anymore.  I simply use the text screen too seldom in order to
feel any pressure of doing anything at this ancient code.  Hacking
SyncPPP over ISDN is more compelling right now. ;-)
