Your FTP server has mangled file names.  Probably it has been mounting
a FreeBSD CD-ROM without providing Rock Ridge extension support for
long filenames.  You need the actual filenames to install ports and
packages (the base system itself is restricted to 8+3 filenames).

You can manually install the package files with the short names using
pkg_add(8) though.
