  I am curious.  I have not been using BSD for a long time; I have used SysV
clones and their kith for a long time.  I found, when I unloaded the etc*
directories, that there was a slough of isode/* stuff.  I have never used
ANY of it, and don't really want to spend the next three weeks trying to 
figure all of this stuff out.  Can someone please give me a brief synopsis
of all of that stuff.  I am starting to get a little short of disk space...
