Well, it might help if you were willing to run equivalent versions of
both operating systems. :-)

Seriously, comparing RH 4.1 with FreeBSD 2.1.5 (released over 10 months
ago, for god's sake!) is simply foolish.  You need to take a look at
more recent FreeBSD technology, like 2.1.7.1 or 2.2.1.
