Chris I don't think your cdrom is supported by FreeBSD.  I had the same
problem but you can install from a DOS partition.  (Idon't know if you
were plannind dual OS) but on the CD is a file setup us ethat to get
going.  You may alkso want to check your other hardewre for
compatability.  I have to use a BETA of XFree to use Xwindows but the
BETRA has been great.  Good luck!!
