Trying to compile a program on FreeBSD 2.2.1

The makefile has
        makedepend -I/usr/local/lib/g++-include *.cc

Program compiles but dies with
ld.co failed undefined symbol in libg++.so

There is no g++-include directory anywhere on the
2.2.1 RELEASE installed from the first sysinstall
option, developer with sources.

The info on gcc says that g++-include is part of gcc.

Has something different been done in FreeBSD ?

Do I need to rebuild gcc ? If so, from which directory ?

Thanks you .

If so,
