Summary: Archive QIC-150 with AT cont. not recognised at boot. ?
Keywords: 386bsd, archive, tape

Recently I've installed 386bsd.01 on my machine without any major
problems. Configuration 486DX33 with 512k cache, OPTi, AMI, (generic
no name board), video with Trident 8900C, SMC fdd controller and IDE,
noname I/O, noname internal 2400 modem and WD caviar 2170 hdd. All seems to
work fine except for the tape drive I've borrowed from work.

It is an Archive QIC 150 tape drive with an AT controller ( not SCSI ).
Tape works fine under DOS ( on my machine ). I've set all the jumpers
on the controller to the values found in INSTALLATION script
	-0x300,IRQ5,DRQ/DACQ1.
The drive is not recognised during boot and not accessible later.

Am I doing something wrong or is something else at fault.

Thanks in advance for all replies and pointers.
