  You need to get a kernel with 'config vn' enabled in it (if you can make
one yourself, cool).  You might remove swap from the fstab for now.
Config vn will allow swap files as opposed to swap partitions, and is what
you'd need for NFS swap (as modern unices don't export swap areas well).

  Read the man page on vnconfig.  There may also be a DISKLESS kernel
config file in /sys/arch/sun3/conf
