Well, this is a production machine. My DES log tells me that a FreeBSD
2.2.1 P-Pro does 703.000 keys/second at best, and a Linux P-Pro (both
with ASUS boards) does 708.000 ...

Whereas the Pentium 166 just got installed. It will run as a server, and
I shut sown all non vital demons. So the machine was fairly empty.

Hmmm. That's a point.
