I am experiencing some kind of conflict with sio? and a PC-Card modem.

Disabling all sio? drivers in the kernel and configuring
/etc/pccard.conf to use sio0 works.

If I enable sio0 in the kernel for the serial port of the machine and
tell pccardd to load any other sioX, X > 0, I can access the modem,
but some characters are not echoed and I get

sio0: 64 device events with no tp

logged.

This is quite annoying, since it effectively makes it impossible for
me to use the serial port.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
