Nope.  The powers that be have a problem with the security side of
things.  I can't say I disagree, but it's like NAT.  It's nasty,
it's poluting the protocol stack, but I want it 'cos it makes life
easier (and it's pretty cool too).

If I knew more about filesystem implementations, I'd do this myself,
but then, I'd probably look at supporting {NT,HP}FS too - I threatened
to do that a few years ago 'till I realized I didn't know where to
start :(
