Yep.  Use dd to create a file and point to the file from
/etc/sysconfig (the swapfile variable).

Run /stand/sysinstall.  Just do the fdisk & disklabel bits
and exit again.

PAH !  I started on an AIX box with a VTOC'd disk, mucked
around for about 3 hours trying to mount the thing, managed
to remove the VTOC, managed to put back the VTOC and gave
up.  And I thought creating the VTOC was supposed to be the
tricy bit.
