I just reinstalled with 2.2.1-RELEASE and Mosaic.

If I open the news window in Mosaic and select 'show all newsgroups'
the performace meter shows several packets in and out then nothing.
ppp doesn't register anything being wrong but the link is dead.
I can't ping, telnet, etc.

The link survived the whole night downloading deveopment, Xuser
and ports. This leads me to think it's a particular packet or
burst (grabbing the newsgroups causes the perf meter to read
higher on packets transfered than usual).

Has anyone else seen this or can anyone give me some pointers on
where to start debugging this?

Thanks.
