Hi

I tried to buy FreeBSD on CDROM up here in Canada but was told that it
is illegal to bring it into Canada. That is what it says in the
Walnut Creek catalog. I went into two different book/software shops
and both places told me that they could get Linux Slackware or Red Hat
but not FreeBSD because of export restrictions. What gives? It will
be very hard for FreeBSD to become popular if you cannot get it other
than through ordering it directly from Walnut Creek. And why on earth
would their catalog say that?
