I wanted to move my FreeBSD from two old scsi disks
(together 1.5 GB) to one new one (2 GB).

The boot manager is installed in the MBR of
another disk (500 MB), which contains mainly
some DOS stuff.

Now everything seems to work fine if I tell my box
explicitely where to look for the new kernel
(by typing "sd(3,a)/kernel" during boot up procedure)
and if I don't remove the old disks from my
machine.

- How can I prevent the boot manager from looking
for the old hard disks ?
- How can I tell the boot manager which is
the default disk for FreeBSD ?

Any advices ?

Thanks in advance,
Torri
