What a stupid comment.

The book kicks ass from a conceptual point of view.

So what if things are slightly skewed for freebsd vs sunos, the goal
was the same, you learn how it interacts with your systems and
networks.

And hell, NFS == NFS as well, from a normal point of view (I won't
argue v3 vs v2 with anyone :).
