I'm trying to attach an EMC Symmetrix 5000-series disk array system to my
FreeBSD 2.1.1 news server. The system has three SCSI adaptors: two Adaptec
2940UW cards that run traditional disks, and an Adaptec 2944W that I added
today to run the Symmetrix array. The array has a differential fast-wide
SCSI 2 interface.

The array is configured such that I should see four 8.5Gb volumes, at SCSI
ID 0, LUNs 0-3. However, I only see ID 0 LUN 0. This one volume appears
OK, except that FreeBSD doesn't like the geometry (see below).

Is there anything special I have to do in order to see the other LUNs?

Also, the logical geometry reported by the Symmetrix for each drive is
18,410 cylinders, 15 heads, 64 512-byte blocks. FreeBSD doesn't seem to
like this idea. How can I make FreeBSD happy with the geometry?

Finally, how can I configure ccd to use the four disks with plain
concatenation, not striped? The man pages aren't clear on how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
