You could look for a package called XFS.  It's a dos based NFS server.
Alternatively, the CUTCP stuff (Clarkson Uni TCP) is pretty good for
doing straight TCP.  They're compatible too.  Both use packet drivers.

I havn't mucked aroud with them for a few years, and I forget the URLs.
