When I connect to a router through a vt100 terminal or a Linux console
(or xterm on any box), I got nice vt100 menus. However, from a FreeBSD
console I get translated lower 127 ASCII characters (pluses, minuses,
etc). Is there a quick fix for this? Granted, this is cosmetic, but in
the classroom (I use FreeBSD for some networking courses) it looks just
plain ugly. I tried vt100 console (change configs and recompile)
instead of the regular console, but it didn't any much good.

Thanks,

t.
