I realize now, after doing a search of the mail archives on fbsd website, 
that the ppp0 that I asked about in previous post is apparently kernal 
ppp? If this is the case and ppp is now compiled in the kernal can it 
conflict with userland ppp? Can you have both or just one or the other.
