Actually, if you simply boot the sparc up with no keyboard attached and
your other machine or a terminal attached with a nullmodem cable, your
console will be automagically routed through the tty.  If you want to do
it by hand, you can do it from the sun monitor with a setenv, but I
forget what the parm is.
