Eh, you serious?

If you are, just try to read RTF files written by one version of Word
with another version. Seems they got their act (about) together with
the (bad) binary file format, but RTF looks like just another debugging
aid, with no intention to make it usable.

If you said "DOS Text" or even "ANSI Text", now *that* is a readable
format. Although why use Word to produce something like this...
